Custom Stairs & Runners
Stairs are the highest-traffic surface in most homes. These projects show how the right carpet, careful pattern planning, and expert installation hold up to daily life.
Prestige · Silver Creek Bloomsburg Tia
A sweeping spiral stairway in a premium carpet that once came in dozens of colors.
Karastan Talas · Skyway
A strong pattern on stairs takes planning: we lined up the run so the blue sits centered on every tread.
Prestige Duplin
A menswear-inspired pattern that’s hardy enough for the highest-traffic spot in the house—without giving up softness underfoot.
Stanton Palermo Prisma · Raven
An oversized pattern that demands skill and forward planning to carry cleanly through the whole run.
Missoni
The Italian fashion house’s carpet is so distinctive we love to put it on stairs.
Stanton Emmett
A versatile, handsome carpet at a great price point—and a color we keep in stock.
Stanton
A synthetic Stanton carpet wrapped around a curved staircase.
Nourison
A traditional, heavy-duty performer with plenty of yarn—built for high traffic.
Large-scale pattern, seamed to match
Multiple pieces seamed in advance so this oversized pattern stays continuous from top to bottom.
Prestige Farrah
A modern, more sophisticated take on animal print—a style we stock.
Fabrica Cativa
A stairwell runner finished with a wide fabric binding.
Customer-supplied carpet, bound & installed
The customer’s own carpet, bound in our shop and installed as a stair runner.
Bindings & Finishing Details
Custom bindings turn broadloom into rugs and runners that fit the space exactly. Most are finished in our own binding shop.
The binding shop
When a binding can’t be done on site, we template it, finish it in our shop, and roll it up for delivery to the home.
Templating for a perfect fit
Every custom piece is cut to a template of the space so the finished rug or runner fits exactly.
Fabrica Cattiva · custom-shaped rug
A high-performing synthetic cut pile in a huge range of colors, cut and bound to a custom shape so the rug feels fluid in the room.
Completed Flooring Projects
Wall-to-wall installations shaped to the architecture of the home—curves, closets, landings and all.
Karastan DewBury
A complex hallway-and-stair install that wraps closets and adjoining rooms—great value for the style.
Bespoke install
Custom installations: we can shape carpet to any curve or angle—no matter the layout.
Custom rug, built for the room
Sized and oriented to the furniture and the room so the finished piece looks intentional.
