From start to finish we had an INCREDIBLE experience with The Floor Store. Our new wood floor looks even better than we'd hoped, and the highly professional customer service was top-notch. Matt was knowledgeable, low-pressure, and easy to talk to, helping us select the perfect engineered wood product for our Cotati home. Throughout the job he checked in with us to make sure we were happy with everything. Hank, who expertly oversaw/coordinated the installation part of the job, also took extra good care of us. We were pleased with how accessible and courteous Hank was whenever we had questions, or when he needed to give us an update about the installation. We were always "kept in the loop"! Then José, the very skilled head installer on the job, was professional, polite, and paid attention to the details. He even finished the job a few days ahead of the promised deadline. Very happy customers here!!
We had an incredible experience getting floors from David at the Floor Store. He was endlessly patient with us as we tried to pick a floor, and then got us the lowest possible price. When the floor was delivered (on a Friday), it was a different tone than expected – he arranged for a new floor to be delivered that Sunday, the day before the floor was scheduled to be installed. The swap was so seamless I didn't even know it had happened until I showed up and saw Oscar (who was also amazing – sweet, fast, good – finished the job earlier than his estimate) working on installing the new boards. Our new floors are GORGEOUS. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. I had David on speakerphone while we were working out whether to swap out the original boards – my father-in-law, a business school professor, overheard and said "that was the best customer experience I've ever heard. Wow." 5 out of 5 stars for David and Oscar!

I needed carpet for one room. I went to the Sunnyvale store. Avery greeted me and when I explained what I needed he immediately found what I was looking for. Perfect! Quick check out with my information and ordering. I soon got a text from Diana to schedule the installation, and confirmation the day before.
Alex and Julian showed up to install exactly when scheduled. The were communicative and respectful of my home. They quickly and efficiently moved my furniture, took out the old carpet and padding and then installed the new padding and carpet. They had me check that everything looked as I expected and replaced the furniture perfectly.
The whole experience was quick and easy.

What I found remarkable with the staff was their patience as I came to the store multiple times trying to decide which flooring I wanted. They showed me many samples, provided guidance, answered all my questions and allowed me to take my time. They did not pressure me to make a decision before I was ready. Matt was super friednly and very helpful shlepping my many samples from my car back to the store multiple times. Francine Steele helped through the final sale and was knowledgeable and worked to get me the best deal. The flooring arrived sooner than expected and was a smooth transition from the store to my home. There was one small glitch with my order (not the store's fault) and Francine took care of it immediately. I could not be happier. I highly recommend the Floor Store.
From start to finish, The Floor Store in San Rafael provided superb service and products: Luis managed all our show room questions, the processing of our order, in-home measurements, made sure we had our warranty information and was very helpful with any last minute questions we had. The installation by Beto+Crew was perfection. Our big-ish job took 8 days to demo and install the new floor, baseboard and trim. Beto was on time everyday, they cleaned up at the end of everyday, and communicated very well with us. We've been in our home for 40 years and had three different floor coverings. The end results were transformative! We COULD NOT be more pleased. We highly recommend The Floor Store in San Rafael.

We had two area rugs made by the Floor Store as well as our upstairs carpeted in our home. In all three encounters the Floor Store in Almaden was very helpful and professional, especially Gabby.
