Great experience from start to finish! I’m very happy with how my flooring installation turned out. The floor installer, Fernando and his crew Pedro and Edwin , did an amazing job. He was very kind, professional, and on point with everything. You can tell he takes pride in his work and pays attention to the details.
The salesperson, Xavier, was also great to work with. He was very nice, patient with us, and answered all of our questions without ever rushing us. He was very professional and made the whole process easy and comfortable.

The Floor Store’s Founder and President, Larry Flick, comes from a family with a long and venerable history in the flooring business.
He is the third of four kids who grew up in and around Dalton, Georgia, the heart of carpet country. His father, Robert Flick, owned RJ Flick Associates for more than 50 years. Throughout the textile industry, his name is never mentioned without admiration — and often something more like awe.
The doors of the first Floor Store location opened in Richmond, California, in April of 1986. In the three decades since that first opening, The Floor Store has grown to 10 locations across the Bay Area and counting.

The Floor Store was founded in 1983 and has grown to 10 convenient showrooms throughout Northern California. We are well known for our large in-stock product selection, better-than-competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, and professional guaranteed installation.
We are exceptional, because our people are exceptional. We value our employees and know that much of the credit for our success belongs to them. And, it seems they like working here: some have been with us since we opened our Richmond location in 1983!
We continue to experience record breaking growth and are looking to expand our team in all of our locations (Richmond, Concord, Dublin, San Carlos, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, San Francisco, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Fairfield). While relevant experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement.
