When it came to installation, Eduardo and his crew were equally phenomenal. Given our previous bad experience, I was understandably nervous, but Eduardo put my mind completely at ease. He sent regular text updates throughout the day and took time at the end of every shift to walk me through what they corrected, how they addressed existing issues, and what to expect for the timeline.
It's clear that both Patti and Eduardo take immense pride in their work and it shows in every single detail. We absolutely love our new floors. Alex and Julian showed up to install exactly when scheduled. The were communicative and respectful of my home. They quickly and efficiently moved my furniture, took out the old carpet and padding and then installed the new padding and carpet. They had me check that everything looked as I expected and replaced the furniture perfectly.
The whole experience was quick and easy.
I had been putting this off as yet another project, but this group made it almost a non-issue. Refreshing.

The Floor Store’s Founder and President, Larry Flick, comes from a family with a long and venerable history in the flooring business.
He is the third of four kids who grew up in and around Dalton, Georgia, the heart of carpet country. His father, Robert Flick, owned RJ Flick Associates for more than 50 years. Throughout the textile industry, his name is never mentioned without admiration — and often something more like awe.
The doors of the first Floor Store location opened in Richmond, California, in April of 1986. In the three decades since that first opening, The Floor Store has grown to 10 locations across the Bay Area and counting.

The Floor Store was founded in 1983 and has grown to 10 convenient showrooms throughout Northern California. We are well known for our large in-stock product selection, better-than-competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, and professional guaranteed installation.
We are exceptional, because our people are exceptional. We value our employees and know that much of the credit for our success belongs to them. And, it seems they like working here: some have been with us since we opened our Richmond location in 1983!
We continue to experience record breaking growth and are looking to expand our team in all of our locations (Richmond, Concord, Dublin, San Carlos, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, San Francisco, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Fairfield). While relevant experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement.
